Electrical and Computer Engineering:

Electronic engineering technologies are the foundation for future innovations. Graduates will be able to actively shape our economic future across various industries and professions.

Biomedical Engineering:

An interdisciplinary and applied program aimed at teaching engineering methods to solve biomedical problems — from modeling and simulating biomedical processes and designing electronic circuits for recording and processing biosignals to the creation of medical devices.

Form of Study: Full-time
Language of Instruction: English
Duration: 4 years
German Language Study: Included in the program
Internships: Starting from the 3rd year — in Kazakhstan and Germany
Graduation: Diploma from Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in two formats — Kazakhstani and German, providing graduates with a preferential right to obtain a work visa in Germany for future employment

Confirmed English language proficiency at B2 level or higher:

IELTS Academic – minimum score of 5.5

TOEFL iBT – minimum score of 72

Internal offline exam *

Test dates: three sessions in June (participants will be informed in advance)

UNT result: 70 points or higher
Subject combination: Physics + Mathematics
All students are admitted through government scholarships
Dormitory accommodation is provided for non-local students

* The written exam consists of 3 parts, each lasting 25 minutes:

Multiple choice – questions on the topic of Globalization
Reading comprehension
Free writing – a short essay

Test participation: free of charge, offline

History of the Branch Opening in Kazakhstan

In September 2024, a joint project between Germany’s Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications was launched in the city of Almaty, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan and the Government of Germany.

Now, high-quality German engineering education is accessible without leaving the country!
